Department of Bioenergy Engineering and Chemurgy ITB participate in the ESDM Bioshare Series #5 Webinar

In order to encourage the active role of the younger generation in bioenergy development, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources c.q. Directorate General of EBTKE together with the Ministry of Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Security (BMU) of the German Government c.q. Deutsche Gesselschaft für Internationalle Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH through the Strategic Exploration of Economic Mitigation Potential through Renewables (ExploRE) Project organized a Webinar Bioshare Series #5 – Contributions of the Young Generation to Bioenergy Development.

The Bioshare Series activities are carried out virtually using the zoom platform and are filled by various sources from academia, government, industry and student organizations. In academic circles, Dr. Aqsha representing the Department of Bioenergy Engineering and Chemurgy ITB delivered a brief presentation on the development of research in the field of bioenergy and the development of plant-based products carried out by various researchers at ITB, especially in the Bioenergy Engineering and Chemurgy, chemical engineering, and food engineering.
The Bioshare Series #5 activity which was attended by various stakeholders related to bioenergy development consisting of relevant ministries/institutions, research institutions, academics/universities, associations, and the public has the main objective of disseminating knowledge about bioenergy to the younger generation. share experiences from the younger generation who are engaged in bioenergy in order to foster the interest of the younger generation so that they can take part in the development of bioenergy in Indonesia and also to encourage discussions between the government, universities, and the younger generation to promote bioenergy as one of the renewable sources of renewable energy that can encourage the achievement of targets GHG emission reduction and Net Zero Emission (NZE) in 2060.
