Regarding the Student Exchange program, Department of Chemical Engineering and The Department of Bioenergy Engineering and Chemurgy have held discussions with other programs, such as Chemical Engineering Program, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). The Student Exchange Program will be rolled out from Semester 1 2021/2022. There are approximately 20 students from the Chemical Engineering Community of ITB and 21 students from Chemical Engineering UGM who participated in this MBKM student exchange program.

UGM Chemical Engineering Program has elective courses of interest in the form of Separation and Purification of Biological Products which are very useful for students. In addition, the Renewable Energy elective course is very supportive of education for students of Department of Chemical Engineering and The Department of Bioenergy Engineering and Chemurgy. Given the current COVID-19 pandemic, the learning process is still being carried out online. Hopefully this collaboration can be improved in the future.[:]
