International Seminar on Chemical Engineering Soehadi Reksowardojo (STKSR 2020)
International Seminar on Chemical Engineering Soehadi Reksowardojo (STKSR) is an annual seminar held by the Department of Chemical Engineering of Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) to commemmorate the contributions of Soehadi Reksowardojo in the advancement of chemical engineering education. STKSR 2020 with Symphosium on Photocatalyst and Photocatalysis (Symphosis) has successfully been held through the platform Zoom on November 16-17, 2020, with the theme “Circular Economy for a Better World”.
A handful of speakers from a multitude of countries was invited to talk on topics regarding bioenergy and alternative energy, food technology, bioprocess technology, chemurgy, separation technology, process simulation, industrial applications, reaction and control engineering, and chemical engineering education. Speaker presentations are held in 2 plenary sessions and five parallel sessions. This year’s seminar holds 5 keynote speakers, 5 invited speakers, and 120 oral papers.
STKSR 2020 was preceded by 3 pre-event webinars. The first pre-event webinar discussed the topic “Circular Economy Implementation in Indonesian Industries to Reach Sustainable Consumption and Production”, held on July 28, 2020. The second pre-event webinar discussed the topic “Industrial Water Reuse: Innovation and Practical Applications”, held on August 24, 2020. The third and final pre-event webinar discussed the topic “Challengens and Future Outlook of Photocatalytic Technology”, held on October 19, 2020.
